I love skin care. I have always been diligent of washing my face and moisturising since about 15years old....much to my girls friends disgusts after massive nights out, there I was in the bath room washing my face before stumbling into bed. Although as of late I have been some what....EXTREAMLY lazy! I have been so slack that baby wipes may have been used in lue of a cleanser. I am disgusted in myself.... I know better then this. When people would come to me about not using products 10-12years ago I couldn't believe they were doing things like this....or even just not washing at all....you know who you are!!!!
This is why I became a beauty therapist. I loved looking after my skin ,I love educating people about why it is so important to look after your skin and making people feel beautiful and refreshed. I have become that hypocrite! I have also found I have gotten board with the products I was using and feeling like I need to try something different on my skin.
Last week I was lucky enough to head to the Antipodes serum launch. Two of my favourite things, skin care and coffee!! Nothing like being as prepared as hell and leaving at 5.30 in the morning. That consists of 3 children up at different times till 2 in the morning only for your alarm to go off at 4.30 to be ready and out the door with Jameson at 5.30! Of course he didn't come with us we had to bypass to Coogee and drop him off to a beautiful friend of mine who watched him for the 2hrs I had to myself (the other two were looked after and dropped off to preschool by the mother of my beautiful friend)-chaotic here is an understatement!!!!
Now I haven't loved serums in the past. I use to believe if you have a fantastic cleanser and good quality moisturiser then what is the need for a serum??? Ahhhhh my ignorance annnnnnd laziness!!!
Serums are here to help hydrate the skin, assists with prolonging the aging process (continuing to nourish and aid collegen and elastin skin on a deeper level). I could go on forever but this isn't a lesson....it's a blog haha.
I look forward to trying these products getting myself back into a skin care regime, letting you know how I find them with my skin, especially now I am 30 I feel now more then ever I need to push my healthy skin efforts.... Hypocrite be gone!!!
